EDIT1: Seems Edge loads all the files even if we have turned off everything on page earlier, you can check in dev-tools it sucks, I hope. I have changed it a day ago so I cant comment for sure how great it works but it works for now. Like I said, I didn't have this problem yesterday, so is there anything else I can do to fix this? It's getting pretty annoying at this point. Open new tab, tap on setting icon, choose custom, turn everything off. I have four extensions installed, but I can't see why they should be interfering with this (I even tried disabling them all and I still have this issue), but just in case it helps: 1) Lastpass browser extension 2) ublock origin 3) Don't Close Window With Last Tab, and 4) Tapermonkey (I use this to run user scripts on a website for learning Japanese characters) I know it's not a hardware issue because I have a gaming laptop, and the only things I have open are three tabs, Discord, and Spotify (and I'm not currently using the latter two). I turned off the preload new tab feature to see what would happen, but all that did was make the new tab open instantly, and I could start typing my search immediately, but then all my typing would stop as it loaded my theme (it's just a simple picture, Ride The Wave), and 2-3 seconds later my theme and the text I typed while my computer froze would pop up. Fords fix is to service the latch with cleaning that lasts only a couple months at 250. Battery has went dead 5 times because interior lights won't go if door ajar alarm is on. I just switched to Edge yesterday, and it was fine yesterday but today whenever I open a new tab it takes 5-10 seconds to load. Door is closed and door ajar alarm stays on causing battery drain if you don't get it to go off.
