When prompted for a password, type sudo key. Now issue the following command in Terminal to install Wireshark on your system: sudo apt install Wireshark. Run commands below one by one: sudo add-apt-repository ppa:n-muench/programs-ppaįor Ubuntu 13.10 and higher, install it from Ubuntu Software Center after checking for updates.
